Sara Holder is co-head of Rouse's Global Patent/Technology Practice.
She advises on intellectual asset management with a focus on innovation management and technology strategy and monetisation. Sara advises a full spectrum of businesses; from entrepreneurs and startups through to large multinationals. She is regularly commended for her practical and commercial approach.
Sara holds degrees in Law and Biochemistry and qualified and practiced in New Zealand as a lawyer before joining Rouse in 1998. Since then, she has worked in China, Indonesia and the Middle East, becoming a specialist in the issues and challenges faced by, and encountered in, developing intellectual asset jurisdictions
In addition to her academic qualifications and experience, Sara is a member of various industry organisations, has published numerous articles in industry journals, contributed to texts on Intellectual Property and speaks regularly at seminars and conferences on technology and commercialisation of IP.

Jacqueline works with Sara Holder providing Rouse’s IP asset strategy and innovation consultancy services in the UAE. She brings in excess of 20 years’ of specialist experience in intellectual property and commercial environments, both in private practice and in-house roles.
Her areas of expertise include: IP; commercial; media; marketing, advertising and digital law; sponsorship; hospitality; technology; transactions and dispute resolution. She has advised internal business teams extensively on the identification, capture, management and exploitation of intellectual property assets and now works closely with Sara Holder to develop Rouse’s IP Strategy and Innovation and IP Asset Strategy consultancy services in the UAE. She has practised in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and Dubai.
Jacqueline qualified at a magic circle law firm practising in London/Hong Kong then moved to a top 3 ranked Australian law firm in Sydney prior to moving in-house. In Australia Jacqueline was responsible for driving legal strategy for and protection of one of Australia’s top 10 domestic brands and advised a top 100 Forbes Global 2000 company on the rapidly developing intellectual property landscape impacting its technology, security, banking and financial products. In the UAE she developed and implemented a comprehensive IP Strategy at a major Dubai owned business with global interests.
Passionate about sport, she is a dual national and has variously captained both England and Australia’s international women’s polo teams.
